Last night Singer/Songwriter, Laura Warshauer dominated the stage at The Bowery Ballroom alongside her band which included, Viola player Kiara Ana Perico. The six songs that Warshauer performed were drawn from new material and her current album, “The Pink Chariot Mix Tape”, featuring favorites, “Sweet Seventeen”, “Wishing Well”, “Black Crow” and the acoustic crowd pleaser, “Rockstar”. In addition to winning the first ever Buddy Holly, singer/songwriter award and getting major props from Jay-Z who told her, “you are fantastically talented” at an Grammy Awards after party, Warshauer is set to release a brand new album this year and is currently on tour alongside Bob Schneider. Warshauer (pronounced, WAR-SHOWER) will also be in this year’s Lollapalooza in Chicago later this Summer.
