
1500 Gallery opens today February 11th, 2010 specializing in Brazilian photography. The name 1500 refers to the year the Portuguese discovered Brazil. The first exhibit, Brazilian, runs from today until May 1st featuring 8 photographers: Julio Bittencourt, Bruno Cals, Antonio Augusto Fontes, Edouard Fraipont, Christian Gaul, Hirosuke Kitamura, Murillo Meirelles and Marc van Lengen.
