Louse Wadley is floating on cloud “e” with the success of her film “All About E,” playing at LA’s Outfest on July 12.
Wadley is not only excited by the warm reception her film has received in the U.S., but she’s amazed at seeing how far it’s come as she is the first woman whose film came out of Outfest’s Screenwriting Lab.
“All About E” isn’t a modern take on “All About Eve” or a movie to explore the popular club drug. Instead, Wadley’s funny and adventurous tale centers around a DJ named E and how she got in over her head when she, and her GBF take off with some found money.
We chatted with the Aussie Wadley when she was in San Francisco screening her movie for Frameline. Click on as she shares her feelings and feedback from the screening.
She also tells us a bit of back story on her vibrant star Mandahla Rose and why she actually asked popular and sexy Australian actor Brett Rogers to tone down his looks a bit.
There’s also a special event on July 14 that “All About E” will be involved with. Entitled “Screenwriting Lab & Live Stage Reading,” the movie will be one of the featured scripts that will have excerpts performed by some popular LGBT and queer-friendly actors.
