The SETAI CLUB NEW YORK presented FASHION ART BRAVURA on Wednesday night featuring ARTISTS OF THE AMERICAS and the current collection of fashion designer, Gustavo Arango. ARTISTS OF THE AMERICAS was founded by Astrid Amaya and is directed by her son, Alejandro Garcia-Amaya. There mission is to bolster recognition of talented international emerging Latin American artists by exhibiting their art works in the United States. Ms. Amaya has met many talented Latin American artists throughout the years and wants to share the beauty of the artists work with a larger audience. Garcia-Amaya also adds that you can learn a lot about a civilization by dissecting its arts, but what good comes to its citizens when a talented artist has not been able to expose his/her art form? His goal is also to bridge together talented international emerging artists to a greater audience in order to expand our cultural knowledgebase and increase our understanding of one another.
Wednesday’s event featured the artists works of: Leonardo Salazar, Mario Ayerbe, Raul Moncada, Andres Santo domingo, Enrique Daussat and Jorge Luis Santiesteban.
