When you enter the New World Stages, you are not only treated to a lot of less expensive theatre options, but a lot of progressive fun and clever shows.
Unlike a movie theatre multiplex which caters to big Hollywood productions, this live theatre is geared more towards smaller productions – but are big on talent and production values.
It was great news when “Avenue Q” boomeranged back from Broadway (as it started Off-Broadway) back to Off-Broadway as it’s a great show – but better when the theatre is a bit smaller so it becomes more intimate with the audience.
A lot of new and exciting shows are just opening at New World – let’s hope they make this their home for quite some time. We had a chat with Michael Coco of the theatre group about some of the exciting things happening at New World. Click on the video and take a look.
