We sat down with two of the cast member of “Boys will be Boys,” making its San Francisco debut May 21 at the New Conservatory Theatre Center and were surprised how one of the boys is actually a man.

Price Troche Jr., who definitely can be a boy, and Brian J. Patterson, who is most definitely a man, sat down with us and told us how they get involved in this musical revue dealing with people with GADD – Gay Attention Deficit Disorder. Obviously, it’s an outrageous spoof but there’s a lot of hard work that goes into the show.  So whether you want a cute twink boy or a smoldering man, there’s something to check out in this show.

This is not the first musical for either one of them – or their first time at NCTC. Patterson and Troche tell us of the casting process that they had to go through to get their coveted parts. One of them even shares with us how his acting career wasn’t going into the direction of musicals, but now embraces this new direction.

Click and check out some of the fun behind the scenes antics when “Boys will be Boys,” which will play at the New Conservatory Theatre Center through June 26.

Tickets can be purchased at www.nctcsf.org and the theatre is at 25 Van Ness Avenue in San Francisco.
