The Outfest Legacy Awards at the Orpheum Theater in L.A. on Thursday, November 21st will Help to Preserve LGBT Film

Legacy Project Awards

The Outfest UCLA Legacy Project, a partnership with the UCLA Film & Television Archive, is the only program in the world dedicated to saving and protecting LGBT moving images. It is the largest publicly accessible and comprehensive collection of LGBT moving images in the world with more than 30,000 items and growing.

The 9th annual Legacy Awards will honor director Lee Daniels (THE BUTLER), and will screen hidden gems from the archive chosen by celebrity presenters. Rumor has it that the folks over at Outfest are working on a VERY big name to present the award to Mr. Daniels…hint: she has her OWN magazine… Watch the PSA below and visit www.outfest.org/outfest-legacy-awards
