Chef Angelo Sosa invites us into his new restaurant, Anejo, Tequileria

Former Top Chef contestant, Angelo Sosa has been busy with his two restaurants in New York City, Social Eatz and now his new one on the  westside, Anejo Tequileria. The former which specializes in global Asian cuisine couldn’t be more opposite than his new one which serves up authentic Mexican cuisine featuring top Tequila and Mezcal cocktails. Sosa has been instrumental in opening up the now infamous, Buddakan as well as Spoon, Food & Wine in Paris by Alain Ducasse. He’s also about to release a new book entitled, “Flavor Exposed” next month and there’s rumor of a new television show in the works.

Kimberly Hayes caught up with Angelo at Anejo to talk about the new spot and his inspiration for cooking. Watch the video below.
