Carlon
is a band built on relationships, both present and past, and the result
is deliberate rock music that strives to explore them.
With a resonant,
classic sound, Carlon creates heartfelt and haunting moments that are somehow
familiar to all of us.
Their new album, "Johari
Window" was recently
released and features a 12-track LP that clearly demonstrates the breadth
of the band's vision, musical drive and talent. Carlon is made of Mike McWilliams,
Jared Pollack, Ryan McGlynn & Milo Venter.

Progressive Pulse favorite, Amp Fiddler joins forces with Reggae legends Sly & Robbie for a new concept project by Strut Records entitled: INSPIRATION INFORMATION.
The series brings together current artists and producers with their musical heroes for a mouth-watering one-off collaboration. With each album centred around an intensive five-day writing and recording session, the emphasis is on spontaneity, musicianship and an open A&R brief.
The entire album was recorded in Kingston, Jamaica during three days last June. Check out the video below for the first single, "Black House (Paint the White House Black)." Album is available for download at iTunes.

cd, "Self Portrait". Lalah talks about her journey and music today
which is reminiscent of old school soul but, infused with personal reflections.

PULSE chatted with dynamic duo Miguel Migs and
Lisa Shaw recently in New York. The unstoppable collaborators
are on their current World Tour to promote the release of "Those
Things: Remixed" by Miguel Migs.
The project has the international Deejay, Producer, and Musician - Migs working with a diverse talent pool including Ms. Shaw herself who adds her own brand of Soulful Melodies.
Both Artists are re-defining the art of Dance Music pushing the genre into
new territories which include real instruments and fusions with non-traditional
Dance Artists. The outcome if an eclectic mix and fusion of sounds that
never loses its soul!
